Kumar Duraiswamy is the CEO of Eastern Global Clothing involved in the Manufacturing and export of knitted garments catering to importers/stores of the US and the Europe. He is the Joint Secretary of Tiruppur Exporters Association, a 34-year-old prestigious association for the knitwear exporting community in Tiruppur recognised by both Central and State Governments with a member strength of 1233 exporters. He is a permanent invitee of ATDC of Apparel Export Promotion Council an affiliate of Central Government.
He is a member of the study board departments of textiles and Fashion Technology, PSG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, and is involved in setting up the syllabus for the academic years.
He is the project director of VETRY, an NGO in environmental activities currently involved in the afforestation of Tiruppur district. He has played a vital role in mitigating both COVID waves by forming a group in the name of Tiruppur Corona Fighters aligned with the District Administration.
